Sitecore CDP: Understanding Identity Resolution
Sitecore CDP tracks user behavior by linking browsing session, events, and orders to a guest profile. By default, guests are marked as “visitors” meaning we do not know who they are. A guest can become a “customer” meaning we know who they are. In order to identify a guest, we must send an “IDENTITY” event. Sitecore Personalize has several out of the box components that notify the user such as popup takeover, corner popup, sidebar, and alert bar. These components all feature a close icon that will hide the component from the screen. But there is no logic out of the box to prevent them from being displayed again. SEE SUG Presentation on Sitecore Search
I was a presenter at the first meeting of the Southeast Europe SUG. I presented on creating a UI for Sitecore Search using the React SDK. I covered the basics of setting up your Sitecore Search client UI. We created a simple react application, installed the Sitecore Search SDK and CLI, created a search results widget, and styled the results. There were 19 participants.

I co-hosted a presentation on Sitecore Search with Joshua Hover via teams He gave the history, background, and demo of the functionality on sitecore.com. I did a live demo of the the Search admin portal. I talked about analytics, pages, widgets, variations, scheduling variations, catalog, indexed documents, attributes, managing sources, triggers, document extractors, indexing and scan frequency. There were 98 people on the call.
